For an aerospace company, designed and developed of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Performance Index (SHEPI) for quantifying the presence and effectiveness of management systems in place within each of the company's manufacturing facilities. Using the software, the company is able to measure the development of their facilities' management systems and to measure and document improvement from year to year. The question-and-answer database system allows individual facilities to record the presence and effectiveness of management systems for managing environmental, health, and safety issues. The system's internal scoring algorithm then quantifies the results. The system allows data to be rolled up for company-wide analysis.
