ISO 14001 Gap Analysis

We conducted an ISO 14001 gap analysis of their environmental management systems at manufacturing locations in the US, Canada, and Europe. Staff from the client’s corporate office participated on the assessment teams in order to maximize the client’s learning and the transfer of knowledge regarding ISO 14001. The assessment resulted in detailed reports summarizing what was in place and where there were gaps versus ISO 14001. Recommendations for how to attain ISO certification were developed, which included activities coordinated at the corporate level to increase the efficiency of the effort, e.g., development of generic procedures that each site could tailor.
